Floaters?

Postby biddle on Tue Apr 08, 2008 6:13 pm

I posted this on the TAPS forum, but I haven't heard anything.

The other day I was sitting around the house and out of the corner of my eye I noticed this dark "shape" floating up and down. It was so noticeable I reached out and swatted at it, thinking it was a spider. I don't know the proper name for these little things but I get them quite often and a lot of people that I talk to get them also. Sometimes they appear as strings, balls, and other shapes. If you have seen these then you know what I am talking about.

Most investigations, the client claims to see a orbs or shapes in the corner of their eyes. Could this and the "floaters" be related? And what causes these floaters? This could be very helpful in debunking the clients claims of seeing things in the corner of their eyes.

I have them too, Biddle, and that IS a source of "I saw something" sometimes from clients. Great point!!

Ive been reading up on Floaters and what causes them. Seems like most of the people that suffer from floaters are people who are near sighted, have had trauma to the head and eyes or have had cataract surgery. Pretty neato.
